چکیده
Abstract This study explores a liberatory epistemic virtue that is suitable for good learning as form of liberating socially situated agents toward ideal virtuousness. First, I demonstrate the weak neutralization epistemically bad stereotypes an end learning. Second, argue represents virtue, value which derives from us learners blindness to freedom. Third, explicate two distinct forms transformation: constitutive and causal transformation. compared with conception transformation involves has transcendent in light constantly renewing their default status

Good Governance, Welfare, and Transformation
Market conforming institutions are a precondition for a thriving and stable economy. This is the upshot of the Washington consensus or, of somewhat earlier origin, the “Eucken hypothesis”. Another hypothesis of Eucken has it that market conforming institutions are the product of a strong state. However, more general and more important than the strong state is good governance. In this paper I re...
متن کاملcompactifications and representations of transformation semigroups
this thesis deals essentially (but not from all aspects) with the extension of the notion of semigroup compactification and the construction of a general theory of semitopological nonaffine (affine) transformation semigroup compactifications. it determines those compactification which are universal with respect to some algebric or topological properties. as an application of the theory, it is i...

The representational epistemic approach to the design of visual displays and notation systems advocates encoding the fundamental conceptual structure of a knowledge domain directly in the structure of a representational system. It is claimed that representations so designed will benefit from greater semantic transparency, which enhances comprehension and ease of learning, and plastic generativi...
متن کاملWhy are good theories good? reflections on epistemic values, confirmation, and formal epistemology
Franz Huber’s (2008) attempt to unify inductivist and hypothetico-deductivist intuitions on confirmation by means of a single measure are examined and compared with previous work on the theory of verisimilitude or truthlikeness. The idea of connecting ‘the logic of confirmation’ with ‘the logic of acceptability’ is also critically discussed, and it is argued that ‘acceptability’ takes necessari...
متن کاملEpistemic Learning Programs A Calculus for Describing Epistemic Action Models
Dynamic Epistemic Logic makes it possible to model and reason about information change in multi-agent systems. Information change is mathematically modeled through epistemic action Kripke models introduced by Baltag et al. Also, van Ditmarsch interprets the information change as a relation between epistemic states and sets of epistemic states and to describe it formally, he considers a special ...
